Why DojoMesh exists
Before DojoMesh, Creston BJJ was run on a spreadsheet for members, another for payments, a whiteboard for belt promotions and a phone full of one-at-a-time texts to parents. The gym management apps available were built for yoga studios and CrossFit boxes: they had no belt ladder, no stripes, no kyu or dan grades, no round timer, and they charged more as the school grew. So Mark built the tool his academy needed and then made it available to other owners with the same problems.
How it is built
- Every feature comes from a real problem at a real academy, and the founder uses each one himself before it ships
- One flat price of $50 a month for unlimited students, because growth should not raise your software bill
- Support goes directly to the founder, not to a ticket queue or a support tier
- Your data is yours: members, payments, attendance and belt history can be exported at any time
- No contracts and no minimum term; academies stay because the software works, not because leaving is hard
Who uses it
Brazilian jiu-jitsu, karate, taekwondo, judo, wrestling, kickboxing and MMA academies run on DojoMesh today, in Canada, the United States and Australia. Each academy bills its members in its own currency and keeps the payment processor it already uses.
Where we are
DojoMesh is built and run from Creston, British Columbia, Canada, the same town as the academy it was written for. Support is by email at us@dojomesh.com, and every new academy is offered a free setup session over Zoom with the founder.
